 What is a Veterinary Behaviorist?

American College of Veterinary Behaviorists

Common issues that Veterinary Behaviorists treat:

                      • Pets that are destructive, potty inside or panic when owners leave

                      • Cats that urinate or defecate outside of the litterbox

                      • Pets that eat inappropriate things

                      • Pets that show aggression towards humans or other animals

                     • Many other unique behavior challenges that owners cannot manage alone

The initial consultation usually lasts 2-3 hours. Dr. Steib will review a thorough history with the family, discuss diagnosis and most importantly develop a treatment plan for your individual pet.

Dr. Steib’s goal is to be a part of your pet’s team, along with your regular veterinarian, to manage any behavior issues that arise.

In order to schedule a consultation please fill out this behavior consultation questionnaire and email it to [email protected], then call our team to schedule an appointment.
